Hey
i was driving dads 03 ssei toda, i parked the car and when i got back in it and started the carthe back left window fell down, and would not go back up, is this the window regulator problem i keep reading about, and is it a common problem?

Yes, it is likely the regulator issue...yes it is common. The good news is that you can fix it yourself using this procedure that you'll find in techinfo.

Yes it'* the regulator. The cable ripped out of the anchor letting the window fall down its track. Very common.

Welcome to the club, getting broke in right huh...

Very common problem nearly everyone in the 02 board has had this problem some time or other. As Tracy said it is easy to fix. If you run into any problems just give us a holler.
