Default tranny slippin!!!!! Is this the end????

Just got back from road trip car sure acting up. When i go to accelerate it seems like it'* slipping until i get up to speed and still slightly does it even at cruising speed. Tranny oil hasen't been changed in awhile maybe i'll start with that.

First off, welcome to BC. Second, please take the time to fill out your signature with your make and model and trim style. It helps us determine what course of action to help you out with.

As far as your problem goes, look at the fluid, is it brown and smell burnt? Or is it still red-pink?
If its brown and smells burnt, get the transmission serviced. Few of us here only recommend doing a regular change, ie drop the pan, replace the filter and putting in new fluid. Don't do the flush system.

Your trans may be on the verge of failure. Costly in the long run.
