I inspected my brakes and now I'm kind of worried that I need new calipers aswell as rotors. I could slide my calipers back and forth on my drivers side pobably up to 3/4 of an inch. I expect alittle but 3/4" seems steep. The rotor is obviously warped on that side and the scorching on the rotor had me thinking a bad hub was at fault but could a bad caliper be my problem.
Seems to me that this is indicative of either:
1. You have little to no pads left on that side or...
2. Your piston is stuck inside its cylinder.
3. Or a combination of both.
Perhaps your caliper slide bolts have backed out too. This is a strange one.

I think that the piston is stuck in the caliper. I assume that my warped rotor beat the caliper to submission. My pads are about 70-75%. I have new rotors and pads on the way and probably a new caliper.
