2002 SE Cold Engine Noise

Default 2002 SE Cold Engine Noise
When engine is first started it makes a grinding noise from the Drivers Side by the Airbox. After a minute or 2 its fades away to virtually nothing. Is this normal?

Sounds to me like your airbox has been gutted/modified in some way. When the baffles and sound restrictors are removed from the aribox, a sound exactly like you're describing can be heard.

Thanks, I'll check out the airbox. Lets assume it is not gutted.(I Cant Check it my wife took car )
