good question, i dont had used it, i still have the IAT at the same place, i used the original coupler. and then installed my Fender well intake after it.

I think you have to do the hole a bit bigger, but for holding it in place, ask willwren , i think he run that setup.

If you want to plug it instead of putting your IAT in it, roughen up the inside of the hole with a sharp knife or 60-grit paper. Put a piece of tape on the INSIDE of the filter to keep goo from pouring in.

Set the filter on it'* nose, IAT hole up. Fill with black silicone RTV, leaving a little extra 'flange' on the ouside to prevent it from ever being sucked into the filter under high-suck (boost) conditions.

Pull the tape off the inside after it cures.

Better to use it. I'm using mine for my water injection nozzle.

Oh yeah..he'* got it all. However to extend you can pick up an extension from Intense or add wire to your existing setup. If you add, I'd suggest soldering and heat shrinking the connections for the best moisture resistance.

Heat shrinking sounds like a plan. I already ordered the ext. this mornin, it should be here in a couple of days. I broke out the recipricating saw this weekend and began cutting away at the engine bay. every thing went well pics to come when finished.
what is a water injection nozzle? - spray water to keep engine cool?

I'm aware of running it. This is my 4th home-built system. Driverjohn and DrJay have
both seen demonstrations of my pressure tank in action.
