Ouch. Big time lubrication problem on that pinon shaft, or so I've heard and seen from resources at work.
I've sent an email to Auburn Gear, we are a main distributor of there products at work, I'm intrested in if they make one for our cars, they do make alot of LSDs for FWDs.
Sorry about the lucK!

I'm not going to deny the fact that I've done a couple one wheel squawks, but I believe this is what has been making all the left turn grinding (with any throttle in 1st and 2nd) since before I bought the car.
I heard it when I was test driving the car, but didn't suspect the differential, otherwise I would have gotten the car for even cheaper, then driven it carefully until I could get a new diff. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.
I wonder how much this has been robbing me of power, because it was doing it going straightline also under moderate-heavy throttle too.
I did always kinda wonder about the odds of the diff going out considering all the other scenarios I've heard of with the 94/95 differentials on the SC cars.

What I forgot to say was that although it has happened to the 92 and 93'* it seems more common on the 94/95'* which have more hp/torque and the trannies, aside from electrical wiring and sensor differences probably use the same exact hard parts, thus making them more prone.
Modding and racing ....have their effects too.
