Default Which PEM'*

I moving to the next step in mods

I've done tha CAI,plugs, exhaust and thermostat. I haven't had the opprotunity to do a scan for KR but,I,going to go on the assupmtion that there is some to a degree.
I've looked at the ones on www.hulkspeed.com and not really sure which ones would be right. I want to eliminate as much of the heat in the engine bay as possible.

Help me choose:

Aluminum Ceramic Coated PEMs.

Black Satin Thermal Coated PEMs

Header Wrapped PEMs.

Help me choose:

Aluminum Ceramic Coated PEMs. They're great at getting heat out the exhaust pipe.

You can then buy the wrapping and do it yourself, in about 20 minutes, before you install them,
since the reported moisture trapping with the ceramic coating will no longer be of concern.
Use the Stainless wrap clamps tho..... or get some "Safety Wire" at

http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...safetywire.php

25 foot coil X .032" .... should be quite enough for about a buck...

Yeah ; not untill you start to pulley down a few sizes you shouldn't have any KR at all right now
If your looking for sound than go for it, however if you want power that you can feel get a pulley. my .02 cents

How are those black powder coated ones. It says 1400 degrees would that be good enough or no?

Details man! Details... How does it.. "suck" ? (invisible vacuun pump??)

Do you mean they don't do their job? Or do you mean they just look ugly?
Because he wants to eliminate "as much engine bay heat heat as possible" ....
and insulating the exhaust will help to do that!

He didn't mention anything about their being " pretty "..

He could also add.............

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...hlight=louvers

And/or remove the rubber seal at the firewall, and hammer the flange flat.
Hot Air would then be assisted out , by venturi action.

Header wrap is known to cause cracking. That'* why header wrap is bad. And it'* not designed specifically to reduce underhood temps, but rather to promote hotter exhaust which flows better, allowing it to escape faster.
