Just kind of a general 3800 SII question, car in particular is a 1997 Olds 88 with i believe the 4T60-e still. If you go from a DEAD stop and stomp on it, the car doesn't have really any muscle for the first 10-15 MPH. Then the revs start to climb and it feels like a 200hp car should. Is this just the torque management doing its thing? Because i can't even get the tires to light up.

Depends on the gear ratio of the trans....

Oh i didn't think of that... anyone know what it would be? It'* just the basic 88 not the LSS or anything. I'm guessing it'* a 3.06 or something like that.

thats perfectly normal, mine falls on its face from a stop, and doesnt really kick it up until about 2800 RPM or so

If you had enough power/programming to break free you'd spin for a sec then you'd notice the power difference as it caught. Once it catches it pours the power back on slowly. TM gotta love it. Even with TC off you'll still feel the TM program running as many have said.

yes, you experience that on wet pavement alot, youll feel it start to spin, then it nearly cuts out completely.. pulling the ABS fuse fixes that on a L36
