Default Car Raffle on Ebay? this is a joke right?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-PO...00503910QQrdZ1

Not sure if I would take a chance or not.

Edited to add, if the seller is a member here, please sell your car the HONEST way, you really have nothing to be ashamed of there, its a nice example of the 88-91 era.

I would hope that no one bids on this and so far, no one has.

No kidding. I wouldn't want to do that on ebay. Wouldn't be worth 1 positive feedback and 49 negatives

It couldn't possibly be a scam, the seller says that he can put you in contact with the winner

If you are the only bidder the seller extends the auction to some other "precalculated deadline" (which the seller has already come up with) which is very very odd! I don't think that "pressure tactics" work that way!

And what would be the incentive to pay if you don't win? Do all of the payments have to be in before */he draws the ticket?

edit: Good grief, one of the main "plugs" is that you get 20 tickets for $50. Umm.. if everyone buys 20 tickets, there'* no advantage, right?

Someone should come up with a fake ebay name and bid it up to 50,000 (bid on 50 at 50K)..so he gets hit with major selling fees...only fair and moral thing to do to him.
