Hey, my car temp is usually running at 220, is this to high, and i still have the stock thermo.

that does seem a little warm. normally they run about 200. you say the thermostat is stock. is it the original? or just the stock setting?

It has never been changed to my knowing, so whatever that means, i jsut know my dad said that he thought that the car might be running a little to hot, so i figured i would ask you guys, he was thinking one fan my not be working.

Too hot. And a thermostat change won't help that. I suggest you get your cooling system flow-checked. This could be a failing water pump or a clogged radiator core. Or as simple as a bad coolant sensor.

brandon! You're from RENTON?! I'm right down the road from you. that'* awsome! Anyways, I'd say get a coolant flush and put a drilled 180F thermostat.

Is that supposed to be the same for NA engines as well, running in 90* days? I remember in Kansas getting up to 240ish on the interstate, then going back down real fast.
