Default Any insight To my cars Injury?

Yesterday I was diving up Bank St (ottawa'* main strip),and smoked a Sewer cover .The street for about half a mile is being repaved and the sewers covers are sticking up about 3 inches, anyways after i hit the cover going at about 60 Km'* I started hearing noise from the Passenger side rear end.
I immediatly turn off and pull over thinking I trashed the hub.I shake the wheel and give it a little push and no give or noise what so ever.I hop back in and drive home with this loud grinding noise and also noticed that my brake pedal had to be pushed down twice as much to get the same brake power.I put her in reverse to back her in the garage and the grinding noise became a lot louder.Tell me what you guys think,Hub,rear pads?.I will be Jacking her up tonight to see if I can find the issue.

The visual inspection will be key. Meanwhile speculation says

You're rear pad may have broken loose from the shoe and is now missing and grinding. Sounds like the drum is hopefully ok.
