Is this the correct line for seafoam? Few more pics...
The black line going into the firewall, where the top of the dipstick is in the way. It comes out of the firewall, dips down, then it looks like it goes into the top of the engine...
Somebody once posted the instructions for GM Top Engine Clean. From what I could remember, you can use any vacuum source. Seafoam would be the same. I would use a line that is easy to get at like off of the vacuum manifold. I wouldn't use the brake booster line as it'* too large. Here'* a pic that shows mine on the L67. It is slightly above and to the left of the 1/4" text. The idea is to disconnect the vacuum line and attach a longer one that will drop into the Seafoam.
Hmm... the guy at Advanced Auto said he put it in his booster line on his '97 GTP. Either way, any vacuum source will work, but I always thought bigger is better.

Thanks guys. I am going to look throgh my engine today, and see if I can recognize anything from that photo Randman posted. I suppose any line will be safe, just dont pour it out like a waterfall..
If you were to disconnect the brake booster line while the engine is running, the idle will become poor and sometimes stall. While adding Seafoam or GMTEC, you want the motor to still run in order to suck the stuff out of the bottle. Disconnecting one of the smaller lines will not cause the motor to stall.
Plus, I don't think the line is small enough to go into the bottle. I'm not sure on this though.

My car just about stalls when removing any line. I don't have vacuum operated brakes, so I only have small lines, like the ones pictured in Randy'* photo. That brings up a good idea, to put the vacuum line in the can and suck it up that way.. why didn't I ever think of that?

If you put the rubber part in the can it won't do much good as the vacuum source is coming from the engine, not the lines. When you disconnect at the arrow, you will see a nipple coming off of the TB. Attach another line to the nipple that goes into the can.
Those lines that you have are nylon and are not very flexible, especially in the cold. I don't want you do damage them by trying to bend them in the can. That'* why I'm suggesting attaching another length of flexible hose.
