What is GM useing for the 2005 bonneville series2 or series3 , i hear that the buick LaCROSSE USES THE SERIES3 WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

the Buick Lacross Is a 3900 V6 with 245hp i belive.

The 05' Bonney uses the Ser 2. The La Crosse'* base engine is the Ser 3. Its the same engine in the 04' GP GTs. It has the same hp rating as the 2. The only difference is the fly by wire throttle vs. cable. Personally, I don't like fly by wire.

heres the 3.6 liter. producing 240hp with 225tq

you can get the LACrosse with the Series III on the CX and CXL and that is the only option available. the stangard engine for the CXS is the 3.6 VVT

i forgot what hp the series III pulled out. I am guessing 200 still?

The Intake is different as well. It'* not a composite but a metal one. Instead of designing it right they just made it resistant to heat, and much heavier.

The L32 has a Gen V blower as well. Much more power out of that compared to the m90 on an L67. But it'* held back by the PCM.

yes most GP guys that have the L32 have reported upwards of 300+ hp just bey changing the PCM with no other mods
