I have certainly learned a bunch from current ('04) GXP owners around here. Noisy brakes, electrical gremlins, poorer-than-expected mpg, etc. But these complaints have a similar thread running through them, like some problems expressed by '95 Olds Aurora owners and/or '00 Bonneville owners... the first production years of new body styles. Anyone else think the GXP'* will clear up in '05 and beyond?

Did the 87 bonneville turn into quite an amazing machine in 88?

Did the 92 bonneville turn into quite an amazing machine in 93?

Did the 00 bonneville turn into quite an amazing machine in 01?

Will the 04 bonneville turn into quite an amazing machine in 05?

I think you can figure it out yourself

I never said anything about an "amazing" transformation... but I'm sure many of those models DID have subtle improvements on second-year models, based on consumer complaints. Just curious to see what others thought about future GXP'*, and what problems might be cleared up.

My GXP rocks...My brakes squeak a bit when first backing out of the driveway. But all in all it is an awesome piece of equipment. It can eat 5.0 liter Mustangs...

Actually there were A LOT of changes for 93.

I'd wait for the 05 reviews to come in.
