I have the wire lace 15'* with 215 65 R15 Good year eagles work good so far.

For the winter the car will be getting 205 75 r15 Bilzzak'* or maybe the new toyo blizzak look a like. depending on what is cheaper or what reviews say.

There is no real "best" tire. It depends on what you want out of the tire. Do you want durability or grip? all-season or race only? Surf around tirerack.com for a bit and see if you can narrow it down a little.

yokohama has some good 80k tires that provide suitable grip, along with deep trenches in the tread to handle rain appropriatly, which is what i got recently

Using all caps is the equivalent of screaming

I like my BFGoodrich Momentum Tires, They've got acceptable grip. I've had them at speed in cats and dogs rain, Not the lightest hint of hydroplaning. Wear is more than acceptable, They're 80K tires, And with track use they might actualy get 40K.

I've got Goodyear Eagle GA Touring tires (standard equipment on Chevy Impalas, I think).

They're on their deathbed though, doesn't take much rain for them to hydroplane pretty bad. I'll have new tires before winter.

For Florida I have Michelin X-Ones on three of our cars. Have not found anything better in a street tire in the wet. 225x60x16s on the Bonne.
