Sometime in the future I want to buy a completely new 3.8L supercharged engine and a completely new non rebuilt tranny if possible. I checked GM parts direct and I think the engine part is covered but can I use the latest Series II in my 93 Bonne? And can I also use the 4T65E transmission in that? I dont really care too much about prices right now but if its gonna cost over like $7k for both things bought and shipped then I will probably just buy a new car or something. Another idea is if its gonna cost that much would it be better to just tear it apart and throw in a V8, an awesome 5-6 speed, and make it RWD? Right now Im running a used 3.8L that I got for I think $800 or something and have no idea on the mileage. The tranny was just rebuilt about 5-6k miles ago and it isnt too great because at a certain RPM I can feel the car jerking or something.

Ive thought seriously about what I want to be driving for a long time and I seriously want to just turn my Bonne into my dream car. Having a 350 or something would be freakin awesome and since there is a body kit in the works from AED for our cars I think this could become a dream car. Id rather be saving up towards this than having to make payments for a long time on a car that I might not even like after some time. And I am absolutely in love with my Bonne even though its ugly as hell.

RWD would be hard as hell (fit a new subframe in the car).
V8 and manual would take some work, but definitly over $10k
L67 and 4t60 would probably be the easiest to do.

lol yea that was kind of pushing it but they did it in a Grand Am! I think I'll stick to the new 3.8 and tranny but will I need to do anything major as far as electronics goes? Im not looking to do any of this myself but maybe.

You would have to change the PCM, or at least the chip. I don't know, but I think maybe everything the N/A plugs into should plug into a */C??? Anyone verify this?
wiring is completly different from the LN3 to an L67.. however you don't have that large of a leap.. you may not have that big of a problem. Unless you know what you are doing, don't do it, unless you have a LOT of money, don't have someone else do it either.
