He'* pretty pissed. Good for him though. Exercising the right of free speech.

I've seen a couple of vehicles locally that are advertizing some sort of dismay with their vehicle of dealer. A purple Neon with the paint peeling has 2" mailbox letters on the whole back of the car:

"Friends don't let friends buy at Bertera. Ask me"

Bertera is a big local dealer with multiple manufacturer dealerships.

Now get this, I was following GM'* data for replacement of the gasket and they have revised many "wrong torque specs" for this particular motor from the rocker arm bolts to the lower intake to the upper intake. They have updated all of these specs but made a mistake on the upper intake manifold bolts. They claim 18 ft lbs for torque specs. That is dead wrong. When I was torquing them as per "GM'*" published data what I thought was the torque wrench clicking when reaching 18ft lbs of torque was really the upper intake manifold cracking due to excessive torque being applied.
wow... is it wrong to find that a bit funny??

i think they're directing their complaints more towards how the dealer responded to their problems... almost every "horror story" puts down the dealerships

Yeah, they named a lot of dealers where cars were bought. They can't just give away repairs. They never mentouned that the vans were still in warranty either. If they weren't in warranty, why should the dealer fix it?

And Lemon? That'* got a legal term behind it, and if you use it out of place you can be hit with your own stuff.

Dexcool lawsuit? Seriously who do these people think they are.
