Pontiac's future
I want to know if you all think V8s are needed in Pontiac sedans. I understand maybe in the sports are (GTO or whatever). V6s will now be producing up to 300hp in the Acura division. Couldn't GM naturally tweek out more hp/torque out of the 3.8s followed by top of the line increased boosted superchargers? I think this would've saved the Grand Am. So what should it be, V8 rumble or supercharged scream? What about rear wheel drive? Five/six speed automatics? Chrome wheels or these new GXP type wheels?
How about a DOHC 3.8? But then it would go against how these have made it this long (1963-present OHC design). Or even a 3-valve/cylinder.
P.*. Does anyone know if there has ever been a DOHC head custom made for the 3.8?

I prefer the rumble of a 8 cyl any day. As long as their is an option for the same car with two different engine configurations, the sedans should be ok...................ok the only sedan should still be ok.
