Hey gang, I got a question for you guys up north....did your cars ever come with a "Weatherband" function? I read somehere on the 'net that some Canadian Pontiacs came with a cool feature called "Weatherband". Our gov't here has Weatherband (www.noaa.gov runs it) however very few cars have weatherband capable radios.

I was curious if you guys had it, and if so I am gonna buy a Canadian radio (if the Canadian/US weatherband frequencies are the same)

Yeah but you have to pay for XM radio. I'm wondering when someone will find out how to hack it.

Up here we basically stick to "The Weather Network"... hehe....

the service i check into here in ok, will only cost about 15 dollars a month and that in my opinion is well worth it.

I have XM in another car, and its OK...not impressed with its sound quality. Has good variety though.
