Getting ready to do a tune-up for the first time on my new ride.

Which plugs have you found to run the best in these cars?

Any other Tune-up suggestions?

AC-Delco Rapidfire'* are good and NGK are very popular too.

Other tune up things would be plug wires, PCV valve, O2 sensor, & fuel filter. And check the air filter too.

Stay away from bosch platinums. Copper is probably best for your supercharged engine but the iridiums worked well for me. If you plan on modding a bit you might want to stick 1 range cooler plugs in there. NGK makes AC Delco plugs but autolite is a popular choice as well. Change your wires while your at it. You might also want to check your 02 sensor, supercharger oil, vacuume lines, SC belt and tensioner pulley.

Maybe even two heat ranges, depending on how far you mod. You'll have to trial and error that one...

Try some Iridiums (Delco, or NGK) if your staying stock, but if you feel the need for speed go for NGK'* copper plugs such as the TR55 or TR6 is your crazy with the horsepower like me.

Would it be best for now, to go ahead and put regular plugs in, or go ahead and put in one range cooler?

if your not modded at all then put stock range in. To cold a plug and you may foul them early because they wont get hot enough to burn off the deposits. If you plan on modding I would not get iridiums. They are very expensive and you will need to colder plugs at some point. If you dont plan on modding, get the iridiums as they will last a very long time.
