Default 95 SSE vs. Ram 1500 4x4

I didn't race him, yet....

My friend has a Ram truck with a 360 in it. I turned left on to a road at a light going to school, and he was behind me. He knew it was me there. So I just drive like I normally drive, and I get up to about 50 MPH with ease. I hear him behind me roaring his engine, then all of a sudden switches lanes and flies down the road. I was amazed how fast it went, being a very large truck. It even has like 35" tires on it. I parked next to him at school and asked how fast he was going, and said about 80. He said I should have raced him, but being in the dark, in the cold, with cops lurking about, I didn't do it.

I really want to, because I could just waste him totally, but my good side is telling me not to risk it.

You would definitely kill him. The 360 has some good punches but the motor doesn't pull till about 2200rpm so out of the hole it is very sluggish. 5,000+ lb. trucks just can't get going but from a roll they aren't too bad. I am planning on putting headers, Jacobs off-road electronics, & a Mopar PCM just to mess with some of the ricers from a punch.

I spanked one two days ago. It wasn't the extended cab, it was a Ram 1500 Sport. Sharp truck in my rear-view mirror.

Just smoked a Ram myself. I don't know what he was thinking when he saw my hood, maybe he thought since it looked the way it does I must race it all the time, but I was just at a red light-wasn't even thinking of racing, especially since it was raining. But when it turned green I knew he was trying to race so I said "what the hell" and barely even floored it and within 2 seconds of being next to him I pulled away. I was at least 50 feet ahead of him and only going 55mph. I'm not sure what type of Ram it was. It was dark as hell and didn't even know it was a Ram until I saw the headlights in my rearview. I never looked at him at the light.
