Default Violent shake

Hey guys,

I have a new problem with my 93 bonneville.

Happened a few nights ago, but has gotten much worst. the past couple of times I've noticed if I take a right hand turn, at highway speeds, and go over a bump the whole vehicle will shake as if a giant pitbull has a hold of it.

It won't stop unless I apply enough brakes to get rid of the shakes.

Today it happened while going in a straight line and going over a hump on the road.

I'm not driving this thing until I can figure this problem out.

Anybody has any experience with this?

Thank you,

G

Something loose in the front suspension. Start with the tie rods. Jack the front end up and see if there is any side to side, or up and down play in the front wheels.

Check all the wheel nuts to make sure they are not loose and you don't have any broken studs.
