Default Trans shutter on takeoff

Hello I have a 05' gxp with the 5.3 and 4t65e trans.. problem is when I go to take off the car shutters and bucks quite noticeably... I've changed fluid and filter in trans and there was alot of metal shavings on magnets and fluid was burnt smelling... but after fluid change it acted fine for about 6 months but now its back and fluid change didn't fix anything this time.. any suggestions are appreciated and car does have around 240k miles on it so?? I just hate to scrap it since its fun to drive and is a sleeper so what'* my next step??
thanks
Jerad

Yup, rebuild time.

Amazing a 4T65E lasted that many miles under a 5.3 . I know it was built for it etc. but still amazing. The 4T6x line started out holding up fairly well to 165HP and was later made to support 300+ HP and torque with upgrades.
