Kind of a stupid, but simple question...

How come the sixth gen Grand Prix ('97-'03) has a speedometer that only goes up to 115. The last visible number is 110, but there'* another line that signifies 115. I mean it'* two brothers, the 8th gen Impala and the 6th gen Regal/century have speedometers that go up to 120. I mean isn't the Grand Prix supposed to be the sportiest of the 3 close siblings? Again, I know this is a dumb question, but it'* always intrigued me. (Olds reference)

its just a style thing, and they ran out of room. besides, your car is electronically limited to 110 because that'* what the stock tires were rated to do. any faster and they shred.
