Default Just purchased 06' Grand Prix which plugs

The car has 144,544 miles paid 3000 for it. I want to do an tuneup but I want to get some good plugs and wireset fuel and air filter as well as oil. The previous owner put 5w-30 in it im thinking of switching to synthetic which brand is best/commonly used? Also the steering wheel feels lose almost as if something is broken in it was wondering if anyone would know would that could be?

ACDelco plugs - Iridiums.
ACDelco wires.

I use Mobil1 10W-30 High Mileage in all of my vehicles for oil, and either a Purolator PureONE filter or a Wix Filter. I have no issues going to the OLM with that, and even a little over some and the oil is great.

Could you describe the loose feeling in better detail?

Is there play when the car is stopped and you turn the steering wheel back and forth, or do you feel some side-to-side movement while driving?

you are going to have to have someone jerk the wheel back and forth while you look at stuff and see where the play is. look at the tie rod ends, bushings, steering linkage,etc.. has to be with the car on it own weight

Jack the front end up and push/pull on each front tire at top and bottom, and then side to side. Want to see if you have a bad bearing or a bad tie rod. My guess is you have a bad tie rod which would mean the tire would have some play when pushed/pulled side to side, but no play when pushedpulled at top and bottom.

Like JW said, dry park test is best to find out where worn components are.

Have someone sit in the car with the key on, engine off. Then have them steer back and forth while you watch all the goodies move around. You're looking to see of there is a delay from the time they start steering to when things move, and if there is a delay between each side.
