I'm surprised he didn't point out that he'* using a 92/93 SC with a 94/95 engine/PCM. Could that be the source of the KR? Sounds right to me....

I'd say no problem there. The opposite would be though. The engines are identical. Only the TB, MAF sensor, and SC are different.

His car should be very capable of adapting to the smaller TB and less efficient SC. If anything, he'd be running SLIGHTLY rich at worst.

UPDATE - Put the new spark plugs, wires, oil and filter in. No difference. It is still pouring massive amounts of smoke out of the exhaust. I think later on I am gonna pull the Injector wires one at a time and see what happens. But for some odd reason, the 2 and 5 spark plugs were the ones eaten up, and they happen to come off the same coil. :?

Vid is uploading now, Will post when done.

Yup, and that is exactly why I am getting my money back.

We made a agreement int he contract that if I was not happy with the car before the title was in my name, my money would be returned, and he will get his car, keys and title back.

After sitting here a while, I have come to think that the FPR is bad. I did disconnect each injector plug one by one, and no changes whatsoever. I am gonna post a wanted ad for a used, working FPR, so I can give that a try. I pulled a few plugs at random after running it in the video I posted, and they were still very clean, with no fuel fouling.

Ok, few thoughts pop into mind.

First, smoke color: White is usually coolant or condensation (steam). Blue-Grey is oil smoke, Black is excess fuel in the exhaust.

Second, FPR'* work on vac to pull the pressure down (discharge the excess rail pressure) and boost pressure to raise it. So a loose vac line is going to effect the rail pressure by a few psi.

Last, have you compression tested the motor? The symptoms you are describing sound a whole lot like a hole in a piston crown. Rattlin' like a bitch, blowing a lot of white smoke, raw gas in the oil, erroded away plug.

Well, that figures. That was gonna be my last guess, but I guess it should have been my first. I'm not gonna bother to do a compression test, as the seller emailed me this morning and told me he will give me my $1000 back.
