Arrow Bad Motor Mount? *Video*

Ok having some problems getting to the bottom of a bad vibration when going down the interstate..all of that can be found in another thread here:

https://www.gmforum.com/pontiac-168/need-help-vibration-comes-goes-300467/

Anyways, I have gone over everything that I can possibly think of and all that is left in my mind is the motor mounts. So I shot this video to get peoples opinions on whether this is normal movement or excessive.

I start the car and rev it in park a couple times...then you can see the motor jerk when I put it in drive (foot on brake of course) and when I give it gas it rocks a good amount in my opinion.

I switch to reverse and do the same, then back to drive. At 34 seconds you can really see what I mean by it moving when I go from park to drive.

Is this normal, or not, as if not it is going into a shop or dealer to get them checked/fixed. I just can't think of anything else that could be causing my problem.

Thanks

Easy to fix, or do I need to take it in?

easy fix if ya have a sports store around to grab 3 hockey pucks and a hardware store to get a 1/2" by 8" bolt 4 washers and 2 lock nuts. then its a jack and hand tools to remove and replace

stack the 3 pucks on top of eachother put tape around them drill a hole straight through the center. put in car insert bolt with 2 washers on head end and then 2 washers on top then the 2 nuts to finish it off

Yup, I went out this morning and saw that it was that one I needed. Had the wife sit in the car this time and watched that mount...definitely broken, when giving it gas in gear the mount would actually lift off the frame at least a half inch...looks like it had separated. Mount is going in shortly, and I really, really hope somehow this is my vibration problem, although I doubt it, but I could finally be done trying to find the problem.

It'* funny though, if I hadn't been looking for this vibration, I wouldn't have known the engine mount was bad, the rear rotors were warped, or the front wheel bearing had gone bad. Guess it is good I found it all and fixed it for my little sister before she gets it.

Replaced my mount last year with the hockey puck method. Don't even notice a difference from the stock mount except less money out of pocket and a slightly quicker pickup. Used 3 pucks and a grade 8 bolt/lock nut.

Not worth the extra money IMO because eventually the new one will do the same thing whereas the hockey pucks mount is pretty much good for life
