If you want to replace with a new alternator a high output version is a available from quality power in California. I searched 92 bonny and a 105 amp at idle & 135 max is avail.
Chevy GM high amp 1-wire alternator upgrade
For my PK Ave mine just arrived in a 110-160 amp flavor.
