How are you determining you engine coolant is running hot at idle? Is it over the operating temperature it should run at, or is it just hotter than when you are driving? I ask because I helped someone with a GP last week who thought his car was running hot at idle, but in fact it was running normal temp at idle, and running cold during normal driving. He saw the temp increase at idle as the issue, when the actual problem was it was running too cold when driving.
back in Miami (AGAIN) smh..

I Just drove it again after 2 months and still noticed the issue.
im noticing little to no power at around 2500-3500 rpm .. meaning when i press the throttle i get the normal engine revving noise with little actual response.

i still have the (u.i.m) leak and the overheating at adle...it sometimes over heats while im driving as-well but mostly at idle. what temp should my 1999gpgt be at while driveing?...also i have not replaced my fuel filter and i did notice a slight gass smell on the fpr

Fix the UIM, flush the coolant, bleed the coolant system.

Havent been on the forum or a while but id like to thank you for all your help. The problem is fixed. I formed a small leak on top of the idleing issue so i bought a new much bigger radiator..i believe its the moddle for the supercharged engine.....i put it in there and filled it up with coolant, bleed the system and hopped on the freeway.
