Default 97 Bonneville AC compressor moan

Just got finished replaced the compressor on my 97 Bonneville. She is NA and has about 90k on the junker engine. 197k total.

I bought an new OEM Delphi compressor online. Replaced accumulator and orifice tube. Compressor came with oil and I matched the amount out of the accumulator and added 2 oz more as noted on instructions. Charged system with 36 ozs of 134A from Dupont purchased at O'reillys.

When started up the compressor has a moan when engine returns to idle. Have lots of sweat from the orifice tube location back to the evaporator and a little sweat on the line containing the low pressure orifice. The high pressure line seems to have quite a bit of vibration.

Pressures running about 28-29 low and 210 high in the driveway in a 90F ambient.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help,

John

pressures seem a little low for that amb, did you have the windows open and fan on max? also not sure what you mean by moan compressors make a bunch of noise, the one on my bonnie sounds like its going to fall apart and ive had the car since almost new and its never even had to be recharged. i might just top it off a little see what happens.
