Getting ready to do a ground up on a 63 Catalina Convertible.Going to install a Vintage Air system. Would like to use an stock Catalina dash insert with the AC vent. Cant seem to find a picture or info on what the original would look like. Anyone out there that can give me some help ?

Sorry that I have no pics of the air dash, but they had one outer vent near the door on each side and a central vent in the padded dash topper. The added component was a complete add on under dash plastic channel with vents to provide air for the lower body areas. I used to have one but threw it away when I didn't find anyone that needed it. I built a full custom dash so all of my original dash is pulled and gone. Sorry.

Thanks for your help.Have done some more research and found the GP, Bonneville, and Catalina had same dash insert Except GP and Bonnevile had holes Drilled in them for a grab bar on passenger side. They also had a wood grain panel glued to the areas were the switches are. It can be removed. I guess I can put on a grab bar or plug the holes.

Yes on all the above. The grab bar is actually a great addition to the dash. Ads a little character, lol. And passenger confidence, ha ha.
