hi everyone. thanks in advance for any help. i have a 94 grand am with a knocking 3.1 but with a good 4t60e transmission. i also have a 97 olds cutless supreme with a good 3.1 but a bad transmission. is this transmission swap possible from the 94 to the 97. thanks

I would say prolly not but I could be wrong. The 94 is obd 1 and not controlled by the computer much. And the 97 is controlled by the computer alot and is obd 2.

thanks for the reply. i was wondering about that myself. i've read different things about changing the wire harness or some sensors but i havnt been able to pin down exactly if this will work. i hate to dive into such a big job before i know positive either way
