Default 2004 Pontiac Bonneville SE 3.8L V6 Rear Bumper

New member, thought I would say hello to everyone. I have gleaned plenty of information off of this forum to be able to repair my kids vehicles, and I thank you all as I am an amatuerish mechanic trying to save a few bucks while I pay my daughters tuition(2). So we had our first real snowstorm up here and my daughter was involved in a minor fender bender but I will have to do a little body work on the rear bumper, energy absorber and bumper cover. I am hoping someone can direct me to a place in mid-Michigan where I can obtain parts or any sites online. My observations tonight using a flashlight in the dark are that at a minimum I would be looking at the bumper cover and the energy absorber is broken. The car does not need to be restored to immaculate condition as it was / is a beater, reasonable shape @ ~97000miles. I appreciate any responses as I seem to be striking out while looking for parts tonight. Thanks all!

Best way is to find a pick-and-pull junkyard. You pick the part, you pull it. Just google junkyards in your state.

Agree with Mike. You can still find that model around here (Denver) at the pick and pulls and get out cheap . . . and maybe even find the correct color. If that doesn't work out there'* always:

. . . available at a somewhat higher price.

Thanks guys! At first I didn’t think I would find one that age in a yard. I was able to pick one up yesterday and have the car put back together and on the road. Hadn’t been to that yard in 20 + years. It was nice to get reacquainted with the owners I haven’t seen in many years.
