Default 2003 Grand Am

I have a 2003 Grand Am that will not start in the morning. I'm in Chicago and its cold most mornings. It also wont start when it is damp outside. Fuel Pump is good, starter is good. When the afternoon comes car starts fine. Runs the great for the balance of the day.

Any HELP out there?

I'm thinking IAC valve if its cold induced. Does it start fine in the afternoon when its warm?

Tomorrow morning when you go out to start it, hold the gas pedal down JUST A SMIDGEN. Not halfway, or most of the way down. JUST A LITTLE BIT. Then try to start it. If it fires right up, let go of the gas pedal. Does it seem to have a hard time running? Let us know!

I tried the holding the gas pedal down yesterday morning (Thursday) and it worked. The car started for the first time in the morning in a very long time.

I went out this morning (Friday) and tried the same thing- and again NO Start. The Chicago weather is getting cold and I know there will be many more of these Cold Mornings. The car has 119,000 miles. Maybe its done
