Default 2002 SSEi possessed? (Fixed)
I was Driving all of a sudden my rpms went up to 4000 then dropped to about 600 pulled in to my drive way and put it in park it started to rev up to 2100 then drop to 1600 rpms car was in park its a 2002 ssei

Could be a flaky throttle position sensor.

alright replaced the tps and idle controll valve idling fine runs good just takes awhile to shift gears but other then that running good

How is the transmission fluid level? When is the last time you did a transmission fluid and filter change? What color is the transmission fluid on the dipstick?

the tranny fulid is red and the dipstick says its full i have not had the fulid and filter changed yet

Well it helps if you install the tps correct started right up ses light turned off put my scanner ont he car reads no codes thanks for the help makes things a lot easier

Your not teh first to put a TPS on wrong. It'* easy to do. Need to add that little twist when you put it in place.
