Well I went all in saturday...decided I am gonna fix up my sons SSEi...it got an engine swap last Thanksgiving with a 68K replacement of the blown up original (260K)...then this August the transmission started its games again...acting funny at first (well not really very funny)...then it got noisy...so I pulled the pan down and found a mess of metal shavings and needle bearing pieces stuck to the magnet...I really thought about just selling the car for parts...but then I changed my mind and decided to fix it...so saturday I pulled the trans, removed the struts, removed the rear shocks, and made some investment in the old girl...ordered struts, shocks, wheel bearing assemblies for the front, ball joints, tie rods, and transmission mounts...dropped the trans off at the rebuilders and he called me later with the news of a blown up sprag...he will have it good as new by the end of the week...and all my parts should be in by next weekend...so she will be back in the game by monday...car only has 265K on it...hardly broke in huh...LOL

360K wopuld be pretty cool...but realistically I just want him to finish college with it...he is a junior now...so I don't think it will be a problem
