2000 Pontiac Bonneville Brake Line Replacement (2 lines from reservoir to ABS module)
My 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI has corroded brake lines (both of them) from the reservoir/master cylinder to the ABS module. I’ve tried just about everywhere to get this part but every site is out of stock. With this I have two questions:
1. Anyone know of anywhere I can actually get this part?
2. Are there any modifications or other parts that would work for this application? I’ve been concerned with modifications given the braided sections of this part likely designed for strain relief.
any additional information is greatly appreciated.

Yeah. The bigger is best if you have the room for the larger coils. We usually did fine with ours. It was a 1 and 7/8
FWIW I would not use anything less than 1 and 1/2 inch if you are working in a cool environment.
A cold line will kink with less curvature than that.

Thanks for the insight. The coil method makes sense, and I have plenty of brake line sitting around. I’ll give that a go and report back (might be awhile as this is “lower” priority).
