Angry 08 Grand Prix 3.8

How do I get to the heater core? Everything I've seen on the web says it can be done without pulling the dash. But mine doesn't look like the pics I've seen!

Default Trunk=kiddie pool

My 08 Grand Prix has the same problem on the same side... however my leaking trunk is due to that wiring harness that goes to the trunk light getting closed on one too many times until the corner by the rear windshield raised too high for it to seal when closed. Lol what a pain.
