The word I would use is "positive". The old way was far softer than necessary and if you drove my car now, you would never suspect it had a shift kit (unless I told you). Overall things just seem to work more like I expect them to. And yes, the shifting is quicker - especially down shifts.

Which setup did you use?
I used the softest setting. I am considering going back in and stepping up to the next stiffer setting (but I won't do that for 3k miles or so). Today I had my car in the shop and I drove an Acura Legend I borrowed. The stock setup with its transmission is much firmer than what I now have in the Bonneville. I'm guessing it may be similar to the medium setting of the shift kit. Grant, if you want to keep it smooth, I'm sure you will like the way I have it now.
