Would this be worth it?

By changing the intake tuning we are able to achieve performance numbers previously unheard of in the L36. In short we gained 9 peak WHP and 30 WHP at 5800rpm.
When coupled with ER rockers and our HV TB the performance surpasses dyno #'* of cam'd L36'* not using our insert.

i read somewhere that they some GP guy had trouble getting it to work, I dont think anyone here has it. Try starting a post on the GP forum. If you find anything out make sure to report it back!
These included ZZP ER High Ratio Rockers, ZZP Stage 1 HV Throttle Body, an EPP Cold Air Induction, U-Bend removed from exhaust system, a 2 1/4" off-road downpipe and a 180ºF Thermostat.
The thing is, I wrote the company selling them and told them what I had allready. He said look to gain 9whp, especially with the exhaust work done allready. Now, of course he could be fibin to try to sell his product, hey its advertising! I just wanted to know if it is realisiticly possible to gain any HP from this mod? I mean, why couldnt we just carefully mod our own intake this way, or is it built a different way type of thing?

I think you have it backwards there. Wouldnt the lack of runners make it easier for more air to flow at higher RPMs? Look at the dyno charts on that page. I think you wouldnt expect the 30WHP without those mods, but the 9 would be doable. It would be just at the rev limiter tho.

I used to think the opposite, then I had this topic in class in March.
