Plan on throwing the filter away. DrJay had one just like that, and it held WATER. Think of it as buying a pipe that'* too short for that money.

Its true, really not many miles on it either. I could literally use it like a big coffee cup. I was absolutely amazed by it. Even shaking it with water in it got nothing out of it. What makes it worse is I NEVER drive off road so its not like I put it through abnormal wear.

yeah after gutting mine its freaking loud now, but i like it...i removed both sets of baffles, there is one set one the front and rear portion of the airbox, i also enlarged the opening on the front where the air enters the box, it went from about a 2inch hole to a 3x4 opening or so

Before gutting my air box I couldn't hear the */C. Now that i've gutted it, it almost sounds pulleyed.

Yeah, as soon as the weather get'* a little warmer I'm goning to gut the air box. Is the official K&N tube long enough?

uh...if by K&N tube you mean the Rice Pipe, then its actually too long and you have to cut some off
