Is this worth doing?
Its true, really not many miles on it either. I could literally use it like a big coffee cup. I was absolutely amazed by it. Even shaking it with water in it got nothing out of it. What makes it worse is I NEVER drive off road so its not like I put it through abnormal wear.

If you aren't ready to get a long pipe with a good filter, Gut the air box like I did... I ran on a gutted box for about 6 months... It worked pretty good... Not as good as the pipe, but not bad either... The 95-99 L36'* have some seriously restricted intake air boxes... Its just not funny how badly they restricted the intake to keep the engine whisper quiet...

yeah after gutting mine its freaking loud now, but i like it...i removed both sets of baffles, there is one set one the front and rear portion of the airbox, i also enlarged the opening on the front where the air enters the box, it went from about a 2inch hole to a 3x4 opening or so
