Will it fit a Series I? First off we need to find out if the stock pulley for Series I and II were the same, then its probably a matter of grinding down the motor mount area closest to "point of impact", but I highly DON'T recommend this! I believe I am the first Bonneville owner to install the ZZP UD Waterpump pulley and I did it as an experiment to find out if the rest of us can get them to fit. It "fits", but not like I would want it too. Our engines move a lot more under sudden acceleration than compared to a GTP with its 2 dogbones up front.

As of right now I'm still testing the pulley to see if its causing any damage.
I know its early/late, and I know its a series two as well, but my car has the cross bar and dogbones as well. It is a 1998 SE. Straighten me up peeps.

Bigfunkytown i dont think you should have any clearance issues by the sound of it, since the oversized pulley is 5.5" compared to the stock 5" you just need an extra .25"(1/4") clearance all the way around the pulley for it to fit, actually just a tad more than .25" so that its not rubbing anything

If you could get us a picture of your water pump pulley and its surroundings, that would help also.

Im still checkin into this for us series 1 guys and might test fit one in the near future
