it doesnt say that it supports 96 but it might work, you will need a AFC tho

Yes it will fit. But you will be missing a vac port on the throttlebody for your charcoal canister. You can just leave it unplugged, or hook it back up with a t fitting. I know Allmachtige did that. as long as it'* plugged in electronically it will not set a code.
That MAF sensor is not only diffrent from yours but it is also letting more air past it than it can tell due to porting at the base of the MAF post. So, your going to run lean. If you get a mini AirFuelCalibrator (adjusts maf frequency to add or decrease fuel), hook up a scan tool to your car and adjust the mini afc till your no longer running lean
Your Long term fuel trim should be at 128 or 0% if its higher than 128 or +% then it'* running lean. Your short term fuel trim fluctuates alot more but on average should be at 128 or 0%.

I'm sure this seems overwhelming but, if you need help either installing the TB or tuning the afc, i can walk you through the hole procedure.
