I think he is implying that he was going to purchase a FWI from INTENSE, but is reconsidering due to communication issues (whether or not they actually exist is another thing).

well what I was saying is rouge (todd?) never got back to me after my last round of questions... its kinda a moot point now though as the money has been reappropriated to find another endavour.
but the good news is I am actually going to try and fab up a short ram this weekend. Nothing fancy, and the actual intake pipe I am using is a FREEBIE so I figured, what the hell. Ill keep yall posted.
Donor intake was originally for a late model Civic Si/RSX Type * if you were wondering.

OK quick question... I just read the 11 page rice pipe thread for the third time looking for coupler info. I see several mentions of (tight fitting) 3.5-3in couplers and 4-3in couplers, but my measurements show I need a coupler with 3.75 inside diameter on the throttle body side.
I wont mind if you tell me where I can buy a special one, but im doing this as cheap as possible fellas.

Very high quality products on this website. I have used them in the past, and I was completely satisfied.

I used a 3"-3.5" reducer from boostcontroller.com and had no problems stretching it over the '96 throttle body. The 4" reducer I originally bought was too big. Good luck and enjoy the whine.

You want cheap but effective, try PVC. And stick with 3" inside diameter and a 3.5" rubber coupler to the TB.
Check this out:

That'* when I had my '93. I noticed marked improvements after I did that, and I spent all of $10. Also, you don't want 3.5". You'll actually slow the flow. 3" will increase velocity.
Example: Turn on a water hose. Then plug the opening half-way, the velocity increases, the water moves faster. The same applies for the intake tube.
