i know K&N is famous beyond all reason but is there anything better? or is there anything equivalent to one without the hefty price tag? i found a company called Green filters that seems to make pretty much the same thing, and they were actually more expensive than K&N(apparently it can be done) but just some helpful input would be most appreciated....

Not this topic again. There have been some heated debates in the past over this.
The reason K&N has such a famous name is because they sell a great product.

The FRAM Airhogs are supposed to move a lot of air, but you will have to ask others about their performance, I'm sticking with K&N and dont particularly want to invest in anything FRAM.

haha...sorry for digging up an old bitter topic i guess i shouldve searched, but im lazy...i guess ill just break down and get a K&N....i guess its off to see where i can find a cheap one.
