Ok, so my friend and I this sumer are taking a 3800 series I NA outta a totaled (from the rear) Bonne and creating a rail buggy (yes...by putting a front wheel drive engine/trans in the back). So these engines are fast hulling around a 1 ton car, now if we take away half of that...... We have already figured a way to lock up the steering when we dont want it 4w steering (yes a very manuverable buggy). This will be sweet and ill keep you updated...this things gonna be fast and powerful...[/i]

It would be cool, but it would be easier to use an older engine with a carberator. Personally I would save a 3800 type engine for a hot rod or something.

Good luck. Didn't you say your dad had a 3800 with 310,000 miles?? In your family you probably have the highest and lowest mileage 3800s of their time!

A couple months back I saw a '92 Olds 88 for sale, so my dad and I went to check it out. It had 38,000 miles on it. It was driven by an old lady to church on sundays then to the gas station every couple months and that is it. She sold it in 2000 to the people who were selling it a couple months ago, and it only had 16,000 on it when they got it. Talk about low miles. The car still had the original tires on it. It looked like a brand new car. If I would've had an extra $4,000, I would've bought it.
