Well, As some have seen, i am going to Detroit with some friend for the NAIAS show. My roommate is driving since he has a 99 Yukon and just recently purchased a 7 inch flip out DVD player and screen (AVIC-N2) and XM module for it. Specifically for the trip he bought the TV tuner, the ipod interface and a Hypertec to remove that pesky 99mph speed limiter. After he got all this, I was joking around with him that if he managed to **** up his truck between then and friday, we were removing all the stuff and installing it in my car for the trip, since i am backup driver.

Well, I get a message today....






"Some lady just pulled out into the side of my truck"

It was driveable and I met him for dinner and to look at the damage. Nothing integral, but the lower passenger side is banged up and the running board is almost under the truck. the driver'* rear is dented too from where he got pushed into another car. Thankfully, it is driveable, so there is no need to swap stuff... but I have to watch what I say next time...
