Magnaflow makes a muffler that will work and sounds great. You can add whatever tips you want to it, which is what i think you probably like about the muffler in your photo.

As far as performance, both will yield about the same.

As far as sound, you can check out their web sites and listen to some sound files and make the determination yourself.

As far as mufflers go with me... i have an educated opinion about mufflers especially magnaflow vs flowmaster. Flowmaster is a chamber muffler that uses steel baffles to make the sound as to magnaflow is a glass packed type. although the flowmaster might sound better out the box, the lifespan is shorter than that of the magnaflow. as we know, H20 is a by-product of combustion. that water settles in the flowmaster and with time, it will rust out.
The magnaflow will take time to sound its best. and when it eaches that point, it stays there. it doesnt run the risk of getting hollow and making your exhaust gasses flow slower.

magnaflows are more expensive, but in my opinion. it is a better muffler. hands down.

I ran a Magnaflow *dont ask on the series* single inlet, dual outlet on my Mistubishi truck years ago, it was a 2.4 4-banger and I was questioned multiple times on whether it was a small block or a v-6 when cruising... it was DEEP... except when the rpms were up high, then the 4 cyl sound could be noted

flows on the other hand sound like a hollowed out ricer and makes all v-6s ive EVER heard sound gutless and crappy, IMO

just my 2 pennies
