Enough said. I don't think you could really add much more.

Is there anywhere I can get a cold air intake thats cheaper than the $300 that K&N wants? And also is there a list of ideas for NA 3800 motors?

I have a few places i would like to mention, this one is for anything 1997 and up W Body Store

Also talk to the guys at 3800performance.com they do a great job with everything and you can ask them for info on anything. Also look at this website they are bad! INTENSE-Racing.com - G8, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Regal, L67 3800 Supercharged Performance Products.

yeah i like that place they do a great job with all there equipment. The reprogrammed pcm now actually you can get the Knock Retard taken off and also some other errors from sensors cause if you replace stuff. the WBody store also does that to.

I would try doing a pcm upgrade after everything else because that way you can get new cams and valves things like that, wbody store and 3800 performance.com actually will help you with the pcm upgrade to know what you want on that then everything that DATHURS said.

Eliminating the knock retard sensor/programming isnt a good move. It'* purpose is to protect. We have seen our share of pistons with predetonation holes in them. The prudent thing to do is tune and mod keeping an eye on what KR is doing and altering to avoid it.

Chadeyboy, I see you referencing WBody in almost every post you made here since you joined. Do you work for them? I dont see where your car has mods? The GXP has the V8, so I dont have any experience with them, but my gearheads (who have some fast Bonne'*) tell me they are better outfits to deal with.
