is colder plugs only for superchargers i cant imagine why that would help on na but would love to be wrong

Will most of these mods work on a NA Bonneville?

Danthurs Apr 20, 2009 11:09 PM

Some, but not all. Pulley and intercooler are not used on a NA engine.

Ok I have a 92 with a series 1 V6 if I buy some cams, rockers, springs and some PEMS will they in the future work on a Series 2 V6? Also out of curiosity is there a speed limiter on the SSE Bonnevilles? I can't get it to go above 110. Stays there all day at 4000rpm and I know there is more left in it.

I know very little about the S1, but I seem to remember getting those parts are very hard and might need to be custom made. So they wont work on a S2 engine

Yes, the PCM has a limit set. That would need to be tuned out to go faster.

1) dan sweet avitar!!! i like that way better
2) did you see my question is there any advantage of colder pulgs in na?
3) just remember for na your best modding options order imo is full tune up, cai, cooler tstat, ported lower intake manifold, exhaust headers then exhaust mufler for the fun sound:) then have fun with rockers cams heads nitro all that bs :)

Only the Pulley and intercooler are not used on an NA engine? Any other difference if someone was using this guide to start modding their NA engine/car?
